I showed this video in one of my VCU film classes today as a prologue to a screening of part 1 of Martin Scorsese’s Personal Journey Through American Movies. I had originally made this when in grad school myself, it was part of my DVD document inspired by the Scorsese documentary about his influences. The students final writing for the semester will be their personal cinema narrative.
